This section includes meal ideas, what others will call recipes, but because we keep things simple we do not use that word.
We skip the term because recipes imply following a set of guidelines to arrive at a specific outcome. We prefer general ideas around how to keep your food healthy, but variety in the approach to using meat or veggies, spices, or different base sauces. We like flexibility as well as efficiency because that helps speed along the process.
If the meal idea says ‘original’ it’s off the top of our heads. If not it’s attributed to a particular source, or we forgot to put ‘original’. We do not repeat recipes as found in recipe books. So an idea may appear the same, but we will not include exact measurements or specific instructions about which brands of products to use.
Feel free to ask any questions.
If you do not know what a particular cooking product looks like, check out The Products page.
If you are wondering about which spices to try, view The Spice List (coming soon).
All meals are designed to be cooked and frozen for consumption at a later date. We recommend freezer and dishwasher safe containers. In most cases, you will heat the food up on its own plate in the microwave before serving.
Remember to defrost your food about one or two days before you intend to consume.
Bon Appetit!
